The Moscow NGO Management School was founded by The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in 2005. The major goal of the School is to strengthen and develop Russian nonprofit sector by providing professional training to managers of nonprofit organizations. The NGO Management School creates opportunities for nonprofit leaders to gain multifarious knowledge and skills that will help their organizations succeed. John D. and Catherine T. McArthur Foundation The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation is a private, independent grantmaking institution dedicated to helping groups and individuals foster lasting improvement in the human condition. Established in 1978, the Foundation has been supporting scientific research, individual creativity, strengthens institutions and facilitates solutions to social and ecological problems. One of the largest international grantmaking institutions, Charities Aid Foundation was established in 1924 in the UK and is dedicated to strengthening nonprofit organizations and developing the nonprofit sector in the United Kingdom and around the world. The Russian office of Charities Aid Foundation has been operating successfully in Moscow since 1993. Charles Stewart Mott Foundation The central principle of the Mott Foundation is empowering individuals and promoting initiatives to create just, sustainable society with a strong respect for human rights. The Mott Foundation believes that learning how people can live together most effectively is one of the fundamental needs of humanity. Autonomous nonprofit organization “Ostrovok Tepla” (Krasnodar) Ostrovok Templa, a family development center, implements social projects benefitting orphans who are currently receiving treatment in Krasnodar hospitals. The Center provides psychological counseling on family planning and support. The major types of services include: · psychological counseling for children, families, and mothers-to-be; · charity projects. Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences in a private educational institution whose academic programs have been validated by the University of Manchester (UK). The Moscow School offers continuing education and professional training programs and works successfully in Russian and British, as well as European, educational systems. INO-Center (Information. Science. Education.), a Russian charity, was founded in 2002 on the basis of the Center for New Technologies of the Moscow Public Science Foundation. Initiatives implemented by the Center are targeted towards scientific, social, charitable, and educational goals. One of the important programs currently undertaken by the INO-Center is Interregional Research in Social Sciences. The program is aimed at broadening scientific research in social sciences and humanities, increasing the quality of fundamental and applied research, supporting the development of current schools of thoughtand the emergence of new ones, creating opportunities for close collaboration between scientists in Russia, CIS, and abroad. Open Joint Stock Company MMC Norilsk Nickel and its subsidiaries is the world's largest producer of palladium and nickel, one of the leading platinum producers and one of the 10 largest copper producers. The NGO Development Center is a nongovernmental resource center for nonprofit organizations in the North-West region of Russia which pursue activities in the field of social work, environment, education, science, culture, art, and human rights advocacy. The Center focuses its efforts on the advancement of civil society to ensure sustainable regional development, stable improvement of quality of life, support of civic initiatives, and promotion of philanthropy. The EBM Company was established in St. Petersburg in 1999 by a group of business-trainers, psychologists and experts in organizational development. The EBM Company creates and implements unique training and seminar programs, business games, and consulting projects. This is a unique place created for children. The Podval Center holds seminars for schoolchildren and graduates of Moscow orphan homes, teambuilding trainings and stages plays. Nizhny Novgorod NGO Association “Sluzheniye” Sluzheniye is an alliance of nonprofit organizations in Nizhny Novgorod. Created in 1994, the Center has been focusing its activities on promoting mutual support and advocating for nonprofit organizations at the local level. Since 1950 the Ford Foundation has been supporting programs focusing on the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. In January 1996 the Foundation opened its office in Russia which, over the three years of operation, dedicated around $20 million in grant support to Russian nonprofit organizations. Chevron Neftegaz , Inc . Chevron Neftegaz Inc. carries out operations of the Chevron Corporation in Russia. The Chevron Corporation is one of the leading integrated energy companies in the world. Encompassing around 180 countries and employing more than 53,000 people, the company is engaged in every aspect of the oil and natural gas industry, including exploration and production; refining, marketing and transportation. Headquartered in San Ramon, California, Chevron takes great pride in its commitment to philanthropic and educational programs. Established in 1999, the Foundation has been implementing educational programs in all federal districts of Russia dedicated to identifying and supporting excelling students in Russian universities. Established in 2000, today RUSAL is one of the world leaders in aluminum production. The company successfully extends its participation in charity programs. Moscow State University, Department of Public Administration Department of Public Administration at Moscow State University was founded in 1993. Today it is one of the fast growing departments in MSU, whose programs has been able to effectively combine fundamental knowledge and the most current trends in the theory and application of public management. Ust - Labinsk Administration , Krasnodar region Ust-Labinsk district hosts charity programs supported by the district government and the Volnoye Delo Foundation. |
